Dink Butler, 61, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away October 20, 2023, at his home surrounded by family in Piggott, Arkansas.

He was born on September 30, 1962, in Kennett, Missouri, and was the son of LV Butler and Martha Clark.

Dink was united in marriage to Nellie (Calhoun) Butler on February 16, 1990.

Dink spent his life working as an automotive mechanic. He passed his love and knowledge of his trade to those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LV Butler and Martha Clark; and brother, Jackie Lively.

Dink is survived by his wife Nellie Butler; three daughters, Sabrina (Keith) Liddell of Paragould, Arkansas, Amber (Danny Seal) Mowery of St. Francis, Arkansas, and Brandi (Jason) Householder of Piggott, Arkansas; one son, Phillip Davis and partner Kristi Davis of Paragould, Arkansas; eighteen grandchildren, Emily Liddell, Chelsea Liddell, Ashley (Jason) Nicolle, Blake (Tosha) Holifield, Ridge (Vanessa) Holifield, Kelsey (Matt) Carpenter, Ethan Davis, Garrett Davis, Katlyn (Hayden) Samples, Shalyn Parrish, Austin Seal, Mason Mowery, Elisabeth Householder, Phillip Householder, Lydia Householder, Caleb Householder, Sarah Householder, and Aaron Householder; sixteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Billy Smith, Danny Smith, and Jimmy Smith; three sisters, Ellen, Betty, and Rose; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Hitts Chapel General Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Charles Richardson, and Bro. Shawn Parker officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
