Dona Gurley, 81, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away February 17, 2025, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.

She was born on December 24, 1943, in Kennett, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Donald and Melba (Minton) Holmes. She was raised by her grandparents, James and Ora Minton.

Dona is survived by her two sons, Michael Gurley (Lisa) of Piggott, Arkansas and Kevin Gurley (Tracy) of Piggott, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Reese Gurley, Allison Howell (GW), Kristin Crittenden (Joseph), Tabitha Gurley (Theresa), Christopher Jansen (Shelby), and Jeffery Holle; great-grandchildren: Claire, Ryan, Carter, Vivienne, and Liam; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Kason Lawrence officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
