Doris Jean "DJ" Minchew, age 80, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. DJ was born on October 8, 1945, in Ray, Arizona, to George Hollis Brown and Sarah Louise Brown Hensler. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Barbara Lucille Hook; her stepfather, Louis Hensler; and her son-in-law, Darin D. Doser.

On September 5, 1964, DJ married Frederick James Minchew, Jr., and they shared 38 loving years of marriage until his passing. DJ was a dedicated member of the South Thornton Church of Christ.

She proudly ran DJ's Market, her local country store, where she served the local community for 10 years. Later, she worked for Larry Hillis for 20 years as the Warranty Administrator, where her reliability and hard work were greatly appreciated.

DJ is survived by her daughters: Cherie Bullock and her husband Shannon of Qulin, Missouri, and Bobby Doser of Qulin, Missouri; five grandchildren: Monica Cherie Philpot, Jacob Tyler Bullock and his wife Jessica, Marah Leigh Conley and her husband Lance, Darian Delaney Doser, and Wyatt Frederick Doser; and two great-grandchildren: Ava Cherie Philpot and Gibson Patrick Bullock.
