Dolores Bellers, 85, of a Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012, in Piggott, Arkansas.
She was born on October 5, 1926, in Carryville, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Clevel Fulton and Fannie Viola McCumber Moore.
She was united in marriage to Loyd Joe Bellers on December 25, 1948. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2002.
Dolores began teaching school when she was 16 years old. After teaching at Carryville, Southeast, Pollard and Piggott School Districts, she retired in 1984. She attended General Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas.
She is survived by two daughters: Kathy Jo Fauber and husband Skip of Maumelle, Arkansas, and Kim Rouse and husband Rodney of Piggott, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Chanda Ibos and husband J.B. of Bentonville, Arkansas, Joe Marshall Rouse and wife Beth of Piggott, Arkansas, and Kalem Rouse and wife Penny of Piggott, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren: Parker, Isabella, Aubrey, and Shiloh; two brothers: Elmo Moore and wife Agnus and Kenneth Moore and wife Jean both of Piggott, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Kevin Morris officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers are Byron Moore, Neil Morgan, Joe Marshall Rouse, Kalem Rouse, Greg Moore, and Todd Watson. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
