Dorothy Imogene Holifield, 94, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away November 3, 2015, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on March 18, 1921, of McDougal, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Alfred Lee and Ola Goodwin Kegley. Dorothy was the oldest member of the Cummins Chapel United Methodist Church in Pollard, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Holifield; her daughter, Marlene Conder; and an infant child; three brothers, Bernard Kegley, Earl Theo Kegley, and Harold Kegley. She is survived by her sons: Curtis Holifield and wife Marjorie of Piggott, Arkansas, and Thelbert Holifield and wife Sondra of Imboden, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Elaine Gilliam of Hoxie, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Loran Johnson officiating. Burial is in Cummins Chapel Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Scott Holifield, Thelbert Holifield, Trey Holifield, Jake Shaw, and Gunner Shaw. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday.
