Dustin D'Wayne Lucas, 39, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away June 21, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on May 26, 1978, in Van Buren, Arkansas, and is the son of Ira Robert and Theresa Ann (Deason) Lucas. Dustin enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with his kids and watching Cardinals baseball and San Diego Chargers football. He was a 'happy-go-lucky' person who tried to make everybody laugh. He is survived by his fianc, Dara Michelle Polley of Piggott, Arkansas; his father, Ira Robert Lucas of Pollard, Arkansas; his mother, Theresa Ann Royce of Ellington, Florida; his son Ethan D'Wayne Lucas and his mother, Shaunda Long both of Piggott, Arkansas; his daughter and son, Mary Elizabeth Lucas and William Isaac Lucas and their mother, Brandye Lucas all of Piggott, Arkansas; three brothers: Caleb Gardner of Oakes, North Dakota, Justin Ira Lucas of Pollard, Arkansas, and Brandon Young of Iona, Michigan; one sister, Krystal Lucas of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Anthony Dowdy officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
