Earl Doyne Kegley, son of the late Reverend Lloyd and Marcella Shelton Kegley was born on July 19, 1939, in Holcomb, Missouri, and passed away December 23, 2018 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 79.
He was united in marriage to Janice Davis on May 29, 1960, and to this union two daughters were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dewayne Kegley; sister, Percilla Kegley; in-laws, Earl H. and Geraldine K. Davis; and sister-in-law, Sandra Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice; two daughters, Janna Kegley Ellis and husband Jim of Campbell Station, Arkansas, and Valarie Kegley Green and husband Jimmy of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; two granddaughters, who were the apple of his eye, Sarah Elizabeth Green of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Olivia Nicole Green of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; sister, Linda Kegley Henderson of Nesbit, Mississippi; sisters-in-law, Henry Kegley of Marked Tree, Arkansas, and Martha Bellers of Cedar Hill, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and one very special friend, considered a brother, Sam Williams, Sr. of Piggott, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with funeral services immediately following with Shawn Parker officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Scott Bellers, Mike Bellers, Travis Williams, Sam Williams, Jr., Tony Bizzell, and Rob Lee will serve as pallbearers. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
