Monola Earline Johnson, 90, of Nimmons, Arkansas, passed away January 31, 2019, at her home in Nimmons, Arkansas. She was born on January 18, 1929, in Carryville, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Joseph Earl Book and Alice Pearl (Byrd) Book. Earline was united in marriage to Charles Denver Johnson on March 31, 1945, and to this union three children were born. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Earl Book; mother, Alice Pearl (Byrd) Book; husband, Charles Denver Johnson; son, Dennis Johnson; two sons-in-law, Steve Taylor and Danny Burns; one great-great one-year-old granddaughter, Alex Burns; brothers, Harold Book, Calvin Johnson and Melvin Johnson; sisters, Virginia(Book) Causey, Bernice Book, Twila (Johnson) Causey, Wilma (Johnson) Causey, Betty (Johnson) Brady and Alice Johnson. Survivors include her daughters, Dian (Gary) Wofford of Piggott, Arkansas, and Darline Taylor of Nimmons, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Debbie Johnson of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren, Darrell (Hope) Burns, Delane (Tobey) Burns, Darrin (Cheri) Johnson all of Piggott, Denise (Jimmy) Harp of Paragould, Arkansas, Shannon (Matt) Click of Nimmons, Arkansas and Derek (Tara) Taylor of Conroe, Texas; great-grandchildren, Josef Burns, Ethan (Shana) Burns, Brett Burns, Austin Johnson, Tyler Green all of Piggott, Arkansas, Brittany Johnson of Paragould, Arkansas, Dylan Click, Michael Click, Mason Click all of Nimmons, Arkansas and Christopher (Rina) Burns of Ramona California; sister, Linda (Johnson) Conley of Pollard, Arkansas; blessed with five great-great grandchildren; special friends to the family, LeeAnn and Addison Clayton; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 10:00 am at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Hubert Robinson officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Darrell Burns, Delane Burns, Darrin Johnson, Shannon Click, Matt Click, Michael Click, Josef Burns, Ethan Burns and Brett Burns. Honorary pallbearers will be Derek Taylor and Christopher Burns. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday from 9:00 am until 10:00 am in Piggott, Arkansas.
