Earnest Wayne "Toots" Bell, 78, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011, at his home in Piggott.
He was born on November 1, 1932, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Elmer Clarence and Lennie Underwood Bell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Rueben Bell and Billy Bell.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Bell of Piggott; three children: Dottie Groezinger of Bloomsdale, Missouri, Karen Thier of Hillsboro, Missouri, and Johnny Bell of Greenway, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Sherry Sharp, Ronnie Groezinger, Jason Bell, Amanda Bell, and Zane Bell; four great-grandchildren: Abby, Gary, Hunter, and Haley; two sisters, Martha Blalock of Paragould, Arkansas, and Marietta Steward of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas, with Charles Carrens officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation begins at 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
