Easton Daniel Steen We prayed for a baby, and God gave us an Angel. On Friday, February 26, 2021, at 1:17 a.m. our precious Easton Daniel Steen was born with wings. He was delivered at 18 weeks, 6 days at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, due to an umbilical cord accident. We knew he was going to be a boy and named him early on. We weren't waiting for Easton to join our family, he was part of our family. We were so blessed to be able to hold Easton, to look at all the features that God had delicately crafted into his face, feet, hands, and his everything. Every life echoes in eternity - including those who never took a single breath. Baby Easton was the son of William Daniel and Amy Marie (Johnson) Steen of Piggott, Arkansas. He was so loved and wanted by his Mommy and Daddy. He will always be their precious baby. They will hold him again in Heaven. Dearest Easton please know that our greatest blessing was having you and the joy you brought to us in your short life. His maternal grandparents are Janice Johnson and the late Larry Johnson of Piggott, Arkansas. His paternal grandmother is Sherry Stokes of Rector, Arkansas. Maternal great-grandparents are the late Dave and Imogene Johnson and the late Clarence "Wimpy" and Opal Thomas. Paternal great grandparents are Marilyn Stokes of Piggott, Arkansas, and the late William H. Stokes. Easton is survived by many other relatives and friends. We will cherish our son and grieve our loss with the family and friends, Wednesday, March 3, 2021, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, with Brandon Spain officiating. Burial will follow at Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of arrangements.
