Ella Jean (Underwood) Lemons, 80, of Duncanville, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She was born February 13, 1930, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Arthur and Edna Underwood. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bernice Gordon. She is survived by her husband, William Louis Lemons of Okay, Oklahoma; children, William Louis Lemons Jr. of Duncanville, Texas, and Charles Arthur Lemons of Okay, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three sisters: Patsy Pobst of Pollard, Arkansas, Geraldine Potts of Dallas, Texas, and Sonya Cole of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Jimmy McIntosh officiating. Burial is in Underwood Cemetery near Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
