Emma Lou Vaughn, 79, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away October 5, 2017, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was born on December 26, 1937, in Pollard, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Doylis and Alma (Baker) Conley. She was united in marriage to Harlan Therrel Vaughn on September 6, 1956, and to this union three children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, Lura Kay Conley; and sister, Zora Ort. Survivors include her children: Alan Vaughn and wife Terri of Piggott, Arkansas, Brian Vaughn and wife Connie of Pollard, Arkansas, and Melinda Vaughn and fianc Irv Eddington, Jr. of Corning, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Samantha Vaughn Featherston and husband Gus of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Ashlee Vaughn of Pollard, Arkansas, and Tara Vaughn of Piggott, Arkansas; sister, Lora Fay Collier of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Cummins Chapel Cemetery near Pollard, Arkansas, with Alan Vaughn officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
