Ethellea Ward, 85, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012, at the Southridge Nursing Home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She was born on February 6, 1927, in Clay County, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late David C. and Nora Easterwood Gregory. She was united in marriage to Charles Ward on September 15, 1948. She is survived by her husband Charles; three sons: Charles Ward, Jr. of Drasco, Arkansas, Michael Brent Ward and wife Carla of Hopewell, Arkansas, and Jerry Kent Ward and wife Denise of Escondido, California; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson, Nicholas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 11, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Jerry Morgan officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas.
