Everett Ethan 'Red' Lambert, 84, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri.
He was born on November 16, 1928, in Pollard, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Bert and Dixie Dell Hosea Lambert.
He was united in marriage to Jacqueline Johnson on December 22, 1951. Ethan retired from the United States Air Force as Senior Master Sergeant. He was a longtime member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Pollard, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant son, Blane Ethan Lambert; brothers, Clarence Lambert and Victor Harbert; and sister, Ethel Faye Lambert.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline 'Jackie' Lambert; son, Bert Lambert and wife Angela of Magnolia, Arkansas; daughter, Janna Hendley and husband Eddie of Rector, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Megan Lambert of Ruston, Louisiana, Melissa Marrufo and husband Isaac of McKinney, Texas, Kristen Lambert of Magnolia, Arkansas, Zach Hendley of Rector, Arkansas, Teri Ann Hendley of Rector, Arkansas, and Seth Hendley of Rector, Arkansas; two brothers: Ivan Joe Lambert and wife Lois of Pollard, Arkansas, and Lawrence Hosea Lambert and wife Dorothy of Rolla, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Bro. Loy Culver officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Zack Hendley, Seth Hendley, Steve Lambert, Johnny Lambert, Mike Lambert, and Otto Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Stephen Bearden, Paul Lambert, and Wayne Hendley. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation begins at 6:00 p.m. Friday.
