Fannie Joyce Gattis, 71, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away March 20, 2021, at Rector Nursing and Rehab in Rector, Arkansas. She was born on October 28, 1949, in Rector, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Elaine and Lena (Crow) Gattis. She was preceded in death by her father, Elaine Gattis; mother, Lena Gattis; brothers, Frank Gattis and Denzel Gattis; sisters, Oma Barks, Dorothy Owens, Polly Owens, Faye Simmons, and Joe Ann Parris. Survivors include her sister, Brenda Burress of Paragould, Arkansas and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Nimmons Cemetery in Nimmons, Arkansas, with Bro. Marc Reeves officiating. Burial is in Nimmons Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
