Frances Price Minton born March 23, 1926, in Greenway, Arkansas, passed away November 4, 2021 at her home at the age of 95 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late David and Hattie Payne Price. She was married to Charles R. Minton on December 18, 1943, and to this union three children were born. He preceded her in death in 1993. Her passion was her Bible, sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family. She was a member of South Thornton Church of Christ. She is survived by her children, Glenda Minton Morgan (Charles), Karen Minton Reaves (James) and Charles W. "Chuck" Minton (Diane), and her special care giver and friend Maggie Chavez. Surviving grand children are Charla Morgan Douglas (Jeff), Kim Roden Romine (David), Melissa Minton Cunningham (Matt), Mark Minton (Amber), and Kyle Roden (Anna). She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Christopher Minton. She is survived by nine great-grandchildren, Adam Romine, Andrew Romine, Haley Cunningham, Noah Cunningham, Sierra Minton, Olivia Minton, Luke Roden, Jaylyn Whitfield, and Kolby Criddle. She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers James, John, W.H., D. Earl, and Hale Price; sister, Bertine Stevens, Christine Newsom, and Eavaline Lamb. Pallbearers are Mark Minton, Kyle Roden, Jeff Douglas, Matt Cunningham, David Romine, Adam Romine, Andrew Romine, and Noah Cunningham. Bill Cunningham will serve as honorary pallbearer. Family request memorials be made to Paragould Children's Home. Services will be held at South Thornton Church of Christ, Sunday, November 7, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. with Art Smith and Jerry Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, in charge of arrangements. Visitation will begin Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time.
