Frances Louise Raney born at Crockett, Arkansas, to John H. Raney and Neva Mae Ellis on May 30, 1938, departed this life September 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; three brothers, Gaylon Raney, Roger Raney, and Dwight Little; three sisters, Kathy Raney, Dortha Boozer, and Sharton Marble; son, Mark Lockard; and two grandsons, Stephen Lockard and Jesse Armstrong. Survivors include her four son, Lucas Lockard of Piggott, Arknasas, Shane Lockard of Piggott, Arkansas, Donald Ray Shelton, II of Lincoln Park, Michigan, and Tim Wilson of New Orleans, Louisiana; four daughters, Ronda Armstrong of Ecorse, Michigan, Vonceil Lockard of Ecorse, Michigan, Paige Lockard of Memphis, Tennessee, and Patty Wilson; 26 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one unborn grandchild; two unborn great-grandchildren; one unborn great-great grandchild; two sisters, Lisa Simpson and Janet Murrell; three brothers, Johnny Raney, Robert Raney, and Max Raney; her very best friend, Susan Potter, whom she loved like a daughter; and many other relatives and friends. Our lives will be greatly changed as she was the backbone of our family. There will be no more pain or sorrow in your home in the kingdom. She lives on in each and every heart of the ones who loved her. We will miss the conversations and advice. We know she will be watching over us. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 27, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Stan McCluskey officiating. Burial is in Mars Hill Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Donald Ray Shelton II, Shane Lockard, Jacob Lockard, Matthew Lockard, Douglas Lockard, and Brian Little. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Wilson. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
