Gale Louise (Pettit) Skelton went to heaven July 12, 2024, after being married for 48 years and just shy of her 66 birthday.

Gale was a graduate of Corning High School and Black River Vo-Tech School of Nursing. She had been an LPN, Respiratory Tech, Surgical Nurse, and Hospital Insurance Auditor. She was an Egyptian History buff and enjoyed the paranormal.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Estelle Pettit.

Gale is survived by her husband Junior Skelton; son, Brian Heath Skelton; two granddaughters, Melanie and Harleigh Skelton of Orlando, Florida; and many other relatives and friends.

Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
