Genevieve Winifred Blue, 98, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away on November 16, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas. Genevieve enjoyed a lifetime of gardening and raising flowers. She was a member of Gravel Hill General Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Blue; son, James O. "JR" Blue; son-in-law, Leslie Parker; sisters, Marie Hanna and Dora Riddle; one brother, Gary Wendall Wagster; and parents, Fred and Stella Bowers Wagster. She is survived by one son, Marion D. Blue and wife Teresa; daughter-in-law, Sharon Blue; one daughter, Viola Parker; grandchildren, Darrin Blue, Tonya Helms, Shannon Blue, Kevin Blue, Shelley West, Angie Stowe, Wesley Parker, and Jason Parker; sisters, Bernice Lawrence, Janie Dover, Betty Ezell, Eva Henson, and Naoma Reaves; brothers, Ezra Wagster, Bruce Wagster, and Glendel "Judge" Wagster; many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Arkansas, with Bro. Gary Hancock officiating. Pallbearers will be Kevin Blue, Darrin Blue, Shannon Blue, Wes Parker, Jason Parker, and Kyle Parker.
