George Demay, 83, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away October 26, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He was born on July 19, 1939, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of George and Ida (Daughhette) Demay.

He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He also worked many years as a Truck Driver and Mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverna Demay; father, George Demay, Sr.; mother, Ida Ebble Demay; two daughters, Regina Mosley and Annie Raymond; son, Gerald Demay; and sister, Juanita Demay.

George is survived by his two daughters, Janet Demay Milam of Piggott, Arkansas and Lisa Bell of Piggott, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Michael Mosley, Kari Keller, Eric Moore, Meranda Cody, Patricia Brown, Bobbie Clark, Amanda Speer, and Zane Bell; sister, Ann Demay; and many other relatives and friends.

A family burial will be held in Arizona at a later time. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
