Gerald Belote, 82, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away February 16, 2024, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.

He was born on September 21, 1941, in Rector, Arkansas, and was the son of Ophir and Vestal (Bolton) Belote.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Joyce Belote; his parents; four brothers, Marston Belote, Floyd Belote, Cloyce Belote, and Dewey Belote.

Gerald is survived by his two sons, Todd (Debra) Belote and Steven (Julie) Belote; three grandsons and one granddaughter; two brothers, Linuel Belote and Max Belote; sister, Shirley Payne; and many other relatives and friends.

Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements. No services are planned.
