Gerald Dewayne Vaughn, 64, of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, passed away August 22, 2018, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born on February 16, 1954, in Piggott, Arkansas and was the son of James and Charlotte (Bradberry) Vaughn.
Gerald was united in marriage to Tammy Stegmann on July 8, 2007.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Arlie "Jack" Vaughn and his son, Michael Shane Vaughn.
Gerald graduated from Cotton Boll VoTech in Burdette, Arkansas. He was a member of Piggott Masonic Lodge #545. He worked as a Dredge Boat Captain for Performance Proponents and worked everyday as if he was working for God.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Stegmann of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; mother, Charlotte Vaughn of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter, Melissa Cooke of Beebe, Arkansas; grandson, Peyton Davis of Beebe, Arkansas; and granddaughter, Alyssia Davis of Beebe, Arkansas; uncle, Leonard "Buddy" Bradberry of Piggott, Arkansas; aunt, Alice Lampp of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with a Masonic Service following at 2:00 p.m. with Chris Brantley preceding the service with prayer. Cremation will follow under the direction of Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home and Serenity Ridge Crematory in Piggott, Arkansas.
