Glenda Lee (Crawford) Edwards, 94, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at The Springs of Searcy.

She was born November 1, 1931, in Nimmons, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ruby Estelle Harmon Crawford and Earl Raymond Crawford. Glenda graduated from Piggott High School in 1949.

Glenda was united in marriage to J.W. Edwards on June 18, 1949, in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1998.

Glenda was a member of West Side Church of Christ in Searcy. She had a creative spirit, and she enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, and quilting-skills that she poured into countless projects over the years.and above all, she especially loved being with her family. Her favorite place was home where she was often reading. Glenda loved the color blue, especially enjoyed the spring season, and roses were her favorite flower.

She is survived by her children: Gary Edwards and wife Teresa of Smyrna, Tennessee; Alan Edwards and wife Joylynn of Searcy, Arkansas; and Gaylon Edwards and wife Joy of Gentry, Arkansas; grandchildren: David Edwards and wife Jo, Kevin Edwards and wife Brianna, Jacob Edwards and wife Laura, Jonathan Edwards and wife Angela, Kristy Meenen and husband John, and Karla Goughnour and husband Erik; great-grandchildren: August, Leona, Rhett, Oliver, Josiah, Ethan, Maren, Max, Lauren, Mason, Hannah, Naomi, and Lillian; brothers: Nolan Crawford of Florida and Ray Crawford of Tennessee; and other loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Estelle Crawford and Charles "Pete" Crawford.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Jerry Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Jacob, Jonathan, David, and Kevin Edwards, John and Mason Meenen, and Eric Goughnour.
