Gloria Jean Potter, 80, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away September 11, 2022, at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett, Missouri.

She was born July 19, 1942, at St. Louis, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel (Fulton) Crites.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Nolen; infant daughter, Sharon McClard; and brother, Joseph Edward Crites.

Survivors include her children: Jeannie Lawrence and husband Tim of Kennett, Missouri, Sherrill Potter and wife Jamie of Paragould, Arkansas, Gary McClard and wife Tina of Lone Dell, Missouri, Billy Nolen of Kennett, Missouri, and Larry Nolen of Batesville, Arkansas; step children, Brian Potter of Rector, Arkansas, and Becky Blankenship of Rector, Arkansas; grandchildren, Tim, Jr., April, Cassaundra, Jacob, Megan, Hannah, Kelsey, Emily, Payton, Carson, and Gracie; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hadley, Ayla, Hayden, Andrew, Hampton, Jackson, Joslynn, Kinsley, Conner, and Ellis; sister, Wanda Marie Holt of St. Louis, Missouri; and her wonderful friends and church family ofTenth Street.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Jerry Jolly and Fred Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Austin Davidson, Cody Fuller, Terry Cleveland, Jacob Nolen, Payton Potter, Timmy Lawrence, and Carson Potter. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
