Harold "Jimmy" Graddy , 97, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away April 28, 2021, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on February 8, 1924, in Clay County, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Earl and Pearl Parrish Graddy. Jimmy was united in marriage to Janice Crowson and to this union two children were born. She preceded him in death after 64 years of marriage on April 17, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Graddy; grandchild, James Ryan Graddy; brothers, Hullon Graddy, Jerold Graddy, Bobby Joe Graddy and Troy Graddy; and sisters, Imogene Gray and Geneva Gray. Survivors include his son, Linuel Graddy of Oklahoma; daughter, Pelicia Hammett of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren, Steven Shane Graddy, Tobi Tracer Smith, and Jae Hammett; great-grandchildren, Emilee, Michelle, Amanda, Markus, and Taner; brothers, J.E. Graddy and wife Una of Piggott, Arkansas, and Alion Graddy and wife Katherine; sisters, Earlene Williams of Troy, Missouri and Juanita Williams of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Jerry Morgan officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday from 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
