Hunter Kyle Midkiff, 16, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away August 15, 2020, at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on April 27, 2004, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to John Midkiff and Somer Swan Green. Hunter was a Junior at Piggott High School who loved football and played offensive right guard and defensive tackle for the Piggott Mohawk Football team. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Hunter is survived by his father, John Midkiff and wife Mary of Piggott, Arkansas; siblings, Corbin Midkiff, Easton Midkiff, and Axel Midkiff; his mother, Somer Green and husband Aaron of Piggott, Arkansas; siblings, Katelyn Green and Caleb Green; paternal grandparents, Byron and Jill Midkiff of Piggott, Arkansas and maternal Allen and Carolee Beohm of Earlville, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Suzan Swan of Piggott, Arkansas, and Larry and Sherry Green of Campbell, Missouri; great-grandparents, Jessie Midkiff of Piggott, Arkansas, Jackie Barker of Ward, Arkansas, and Sandra Conger of Arlington, Texas; uncles, Aaron Midkiff and wife Ashley of Piggott, Arkansas, Justin Midkiff of Piggott, Arkansas, Bobby Beohm of Greeley, Iowa, and Will Swan and wife Maggie of Rogers, Arkansas; aunts, Morgan Midkiff of Piggott, Arkansas, Michelle Sohm and husband Steve of Justin, Texas, and Stephanie Farmer and husband Jack of Campbell, Missouri; cousins, Justice Midkiff, Levi Midkiff, Chad Derwin, Lennon Beohm, and Hannah Farmer; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Hunter Midkiff Field (Piggott High School football field) in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating. A private family burial will follow at Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
