Ione Redmon, 102, of Nimmons, Arkansas, passed away October 23, 2025, at Campbell Healthcare and Senior Living in Campbell, Missouri.

She was born on May 20, 1923, near Nimmons, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Hyder David and Zona (Mathis) Sample. On January 29, 1944, she was united in marriage to Climon Redmon.

Ione was preceded in death by her husband Climon Redmon and son, Michael Climon Redmon and her siblings: Ruth Risner, Lester Sample, Deloris Allen, Buford Sample, Delbert Sample, H.D. Sample, and David Sample.

Ione was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a devoted member of the Nimmons Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Nimmons Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas, with Kason Lawrence officiating. Burial is in Nimmons Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
