James L. Fewins, 78, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away July 22, 2023, at Lawrence Hall Health and Rehab in Walnut Ridge , Arkansas . He was born on November 27, 1944, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of William and Lorene (McKenzie) Crouch. James enjoyed race car driving and fishing and especially loved his family. He was preceded in death by his father, William Arthur Crouch; mother, Lorene Crouch; brother, Bill Crouch; and sister, Vicky Lynnette Crouch. James is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Raymond) Hardage of Dalton, Arkansas; son, James Larry (Penny) Fewins Jr. of Pocahontas, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Chelsea (Kent) Bennett of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Breeanna (Tyler) Taylor of Myrtle, Missouri, Tiffanie Fewins of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, and Ian Fewins of Pocahontas, Arkansas; great-granddaughters, Tinsley and Blakely; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. David Finley officiating. A private family burial will be held at Piggott Cemetery at a later time. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
