James Howard Goodman, 85, of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away June 13, 2023, at his home in Beebe, Arkansas.

He was born on July 29, 1937, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Paul and Fleeta (Crowson) Goodman.

James was united in marriage to Ola (Richards) Goodman on February 1, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Fleeta Goodman; two sisters, Rita Mae Harbor and Cleda Ray Haley.

James is survived by his wife, Ola Goodman; three daughters, Paula Reusch of Patterson, Missouri, Debbie Goodman of Destin, Florida, and Teresa Chandler of Kennett, Missouri; five grandchildren, April Holloway, Tesha Greene, Nicole Jackson, Ben Jackson, and Tiara Bennett; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Dean Goodman of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Erma Rene McGinnis; sister-in-law, Tannie Hash; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 16, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with officiating Kenny Burns. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas.
