James C. McCord, 64, of Rector, Arkansas, passed away December 17, 2025, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on October 2, 1961, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Robert and Lovie Joyce (Wheeler) McCord. James loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his wife Judy McCord; son, Brandon McCord; and his parents. James is survived by his sons, Nick Mccord and Jarrod McCord; grandchildren: Tyler and Kristen; and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
