James Floyd Sexton, 62, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away December 5, 2017, at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He was born on April 7, 1955, in Adrian, Michigan, and was the son of the late John and Jewell (Brandon) Sexton. His sisters, Vicky and Helen also preceded him in death.
Jim loved to hunt and fish and loved to watch St. Louis Cardinal's baseball.
He is survived by his son, Dustin Sexton and wife Jessica of Pollard, Arkansas; daughter, Brandi Sue Johnson and husband Ronald of Pollard, Arkansas; grandchildren: Brianna Johnson of Mountain Home, Samuel Yates and wife Allison of Paragould, Arkansas, Breanna Yates of Rector, Arkansas, Megan Johnson of Pollard, Arkansas, Kimberly Sexton, Chloe Sexton, and Olivia Sexton all of Pollard, Arkansas; two great-grandchildren: Dalton and Amiyah; brothers: Stanley of Michigan, John of Michigan, Bill of Arkansas, Harold of Pennsylvania, and Willard of Michigan; sisters: Jackie of Ohio, Zelda of Pennsylvania, Janet of Michigan, and Brenda of California; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017, at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a funeral service following at 6:00 p.m. with Robert Moore officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
