Janice Marlene Heffner, 71, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away March 15, 2020, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas.
She was born on February 26, 1949, in St. Francis, Arkansas, and was the daughter of James and Opal (Moore) Brawner.
Janice was united in marriage to Rickey Heffner on December 16, 1965.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Barney Brawner; mother, Opal Brawner; husband, Rickey Heffner; brothers, JB Brawner, Jr. and Michael Brawner.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Marlene Woods of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; granddaughter, Jamie Woods of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, grandson, Michael Woods, Jr. of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; great-grandson, Collin Rickey Woods of Georgia; great-granddaughters, Jay Lovelace of Georgia and Alex Brown of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; sister, Shirley Knuckles of Rogers, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 12:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Shawn Parker officiating. Burial is in Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
