Jennie Lee Blake, 90, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away July 6, 2024, at Piggott HealthCare & Senior Living in Piggott, Arkansas.

She was born on July 7, 1933, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Leslie and Alma (Conley) Renfro.

Jennie was united in marriage to Jackie Owen Blake on December 20, 1952, and to this union a son, Michael, was born.

Jennie was a graduate of Piggott High School where she excelled in Basketball. She was an active member of Wright's Chapel Methodist Church. Over the years, she spent countless hours serving at the local food bank and supporting local voting efforts. She and her husband enjoyed gardening, and many enjoyed their vegetable harvest and seeing their beautiful flowery showplace.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bobby Renfro, Julius Renfro, Junius Renfro, Doyle Renfro, and Donald Renfro.

Jennie is survived by son Michael Blake and wife Faviola of Blaine, Washington; grandchildren, Jonas and Jonathan Blake, Christine McKinney and Maureen Ortiz; great-grandchildren, Camila and Michael Owen; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation is Friday, July 12, 2024, from 11:30 p.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with graveside services immediately following at Piggott Cemetery with John Heigle officiating. Pallbearers will be Dennis Blake, Henry Hughes, Bobby Richardson, Ben Richardson, John Richardson, and Michael Blake. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
