Jerry Lee Petigo, 57, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2026, at his home.

He was born on November 1, 1968, in St. Charles, Illinois, and was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Petigo and Clara Mae (Pinkard) Petigo.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Clara Mae, his twin sister, Mary Hamrick; and his sister, Regina Shearer.

Jerry is survived by his brother, Travis Russom; brother, James Russom and sister, Nancy Tessner; and a host of other family and friends who loved him very much.

Jerry was a kind soul. He loved small talk and had the warmest personality. He enjoyed reminiscing about his old bounty hunting days. He would go out of his way to help his friends and family. He loved old trucks and playing pool. He especially loved hanging out at the Piggott Diner with some special friends, Kenny and Kim Woods.

Heaven has gained another very special angel.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:00 am at the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas.

Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
