Jesse Thomas Stokes, 20, of Rector, Arkansas passed from this life on March 5, 2019. He was born July 30, 1998 to Thomas Stokes and Carol Burns. He enjoyed being outdoors, helping anyone he could, working on his "Ford"; but his most prized and loved possession was his baby girl, Braylen Renee Stokes. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jesse Robert Stokes, and his maternal grandmother, Diane Vermillion. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Jabra Stokes of Greenway, Arkansas and David and Carol Burns of Corning, Arkansas; five sisters, Teka Calhoun of Rector, Arkansas, Sylvie Stokes of Greenway, Arkansas, Briana Brewer of Piggott, Arkansas, Taylor Ackley of Wauchula, Florida and Hanna Dawsey of McDougal, Arkansas; four brothers, Colby Stokes and Caleb Stokes of Rector, Arkansas, Brexton Break of Piggott, Arkansas and Nathan Burns of Paragould, Arkansas; his grandparents, Melvin and Brenda Lamar of Rector, Arkansas; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and his precious nieces and nephews, friends, and family. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Michael Calhoun officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Friday from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
