Obituary

James Lee McIntosh, 58, of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away September 8, 2023, at Hospice of the Ozarks Inc in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He was born on January 21, 1965, in Norwalk, California, and was the son of the late John and Mary (Kruger) McIntosh.

James was united in marriage to Angela (Potts) McIntosh on April 5, 1985.

He was preceded in death by his son, Dustin McIntosh father, John Riley McIntosh; brother, Bobby Bouche; sister, Cherryl Bouche.

Jim was a self-less, devoted and proud son, husband, father, and pa. One of the things he was most proud of becoming was a pa (Grandpa). When he wasn't working, you could always find him smothered on the couch holding his two grandsons in his arms, just as happy as he could be to change it to whatever movie or show they wanted. He always did everything he could to support the people around him no matter the difficulties in our lives, Jim always reminded us to count our blessings and how to find the things we were thankful for. Jim devoted his life to God and always made sure to put Him first. He was ordained on November 5, 2000 and has been a teacher, preacher, counselor, leader and anything else needed to be a vessel for God.

James is survived by his wife, Angie McIntosh; son, Chord Anthony (Jennifer) McIntosh of Lakeview, Arkansas; his mother, Mary McIntosh; two grandchildren, Riggs Wyatt McIntosh, Dax Swain McIntosh; sister, Michelle (Gary) Cox of Piggott, Arkansas; two nephews, James Cox and Jonathan Cox; and many other relatives and friends.
