Jimmy Don Bowman, 77, of Greenway, Arkansas, passed away July 24, 2023, at his home.

He was born on November 27, 1945, and was the son of the late Jim and Pearl (Ferguson) Bowman.

Jimmy was united in marriage to Susan Kay Silas on March 12, 1970.

Jimmy enjoyed fishing and gardening. He usually had a big garden and canned many of his vegetables. He also loved old cars and going to car shows.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Kay Bowman on December 18, 2021; and his brother, Wayne Bowman.

Jimmy is survived by his two sons, Jimmy (Rebekah) Bowman of Piggott, Arkansas and Richard (Tracy) Hardin of Paragould, Arkansas; daughter, Lealani (Aldon) Kilbreath of McDougal, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren, Morgan Gunn of Rector, Arkansas, Keifer Gunn of Piggott, Arkansas, Josh Kilbreath of McDougal, Arkansas, Colton Hardin of Paragould, Arkansas, Kali Hardin of Piggott, Arkansas, Corbin Hardin of Piggott, Arkansas, Chris Tripp of Piggott, Arkansas, Rachel Tripp of Springfield, Missouri, Heather Carlton of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Amanda Jordan of Doniphan, Missouri, Matthew Kilbreath of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Lance Kilbreath of Manila, Arkansas; twenty-four great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Jerry Morgan officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later time. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
