Jimmy Lee Thompson Sr., 73, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away February 13, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born on September 4, 1945, in Granite City, Illinois, and was the son of Wesley and Lacolian "Peggy" (Bauman) Householder. Jimmy was united in marriage to Becky Poarch Thompson on March 14, 1972. He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Thompson; mother, Lacolian "Peggy" Householder; wife, Becky Thompson; stepson, Kenneth Wayne Hill; brother, Gary Thompson. Survivors include his daughters, Juanita Lynn Biffar of Russellville, Arkansas, Loletia Deann Forester of Cahoki; sons, Jimmy Lee Thompson, Jr. of Cahokia, Illinois, Shane Ira Thompson of Piggott, Arkansas; step children, James Edward Gibson of Piggott, Arkansas, Jeffrey Lee Gibson of Piggott, Arkansas, Kathy Lynn Jackson of Owensville, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Nathan Householder, Norman Householder, Michael Householder, Ricky Householder; sisters, Loretta Householder, Donna Sue Duke, Dianna Mae Corrando, Charlotte Jean Eaton, Cheryl Ann Ross; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 18, 2019, at 3:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bill Ivy officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Monday from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm in Piggott, Arkansas.
