Jo Ann Glass, 83, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away June 16, 2025, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.

She was born on July 26, 1941, in Pollard, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Dovie (Holifield) Yow.

JoAnn was united in marriage to Walter Levi "Bunk" Glass on October 25, 1957.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 52 years, Walter Glass; son, Clark Glass; son-in-law, Vernon Johnson; daughter-in-law, Shirley Glass; and three brothers, Bob, Ray, and John Yow.

JoAnn loved watching Hallmark movies and classic Westerns in her spare time. She had a passion for hunting bargains at yard sales, always excited to find a good deal. She often relaxed on her porch swing, enjoying tea or coffee while chatting with family and friends. She was fond of wearing hats and especially loved the color red. JoAnn spent endless hours reading her Bible and was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Campbell, Missouri, attending services regularly until her health prevented her from doing so.

JoAnn is survived by her children: Teresa Johnson; Anita Rodery, and Michael (Lynn) Glass; grandchildren: Lisa (Matt) Mauldin, Susan Johnson, John Glass, Seth Glass, Luke (Shawna) Rodery, Madison (Brendan) Rynard, Shelby (Matthew) Gieger; great-grandchildren; Quinton (Allison) Mauldin, Aaron (Madiyson) Mauldin, Lydia Sutfin, Monika Sutfin, Holly Annetta Rodery, Adrian Rodery, Alec Rodery, Matthew Rodery, Willow Glass, Violet Glass, and Jade Glass; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel at 2:00 p.m. the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Josh Lovins officiating. Burial is in Cummins Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Matt Mauldin, Quinton Mauldin, Aaron Mauldin, Luke Rodery, John Glass, Seth Glass, and Grant Speer. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
