JoAnn Permenter Satterfield took her flight for her heavenly home to see her Lord and Savior face to face. JoAnn was born to two loving parents, John Henry Permenter and Belva Edwards Permenter, who preceded her in death.

JoAnn was also preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Satterfield who was the love of her life. Also a granddaughter, Ashley Caresse Shy Christian who she loved with all her heart and a grandmother Luna Permenter who she never met. JoAnn talked about meeting her grandma often. Also a stepdaughter, Rahdon Satterfield Mofftit.

JoAnn leaves to morn her passing three daughters, Cindy Rohlfing of Herculaneum, Missouri, Kimberly Stairs of Piggott, Arkansas and husband Les, Stephanie Shy of Festus, Missouri; five grandchildren: Kyle (Alta) Cooper, Heath (Elysia) Shy, Alesha Rohlfing, Bryan (Ashley) Groves, Dustin Groves (Natasha Burns); brothers, Deloyd (Carolyn) Edwards, Spencer (Patricia) Permenter, Johnny (Debbie) Permenter; sister, Angie (Gary) Parrish; seven step grandchildren: Jared Vaughn, Chet Vaughn, Logan Massey, Hunter Massey, Josh Hicks, Kasey Lemmons, and Arielle Cate and their families; two bonus daughters, Robin Massey of Piggott, Arkansas and Renee Hicks of Piggott, Arkansas. She loved Robin and Renee dearly.

JoAnn was the family matriarch of the family. Loved to make large dinners for her family on Holidays, always said if you left hungry it was your fault. Her daughters were her reason for living. She loved her girls and all of her grandchildren, Kyle, Heath, Dustin, Alesha, Caresse, and Bryan and great-grandchildren, Kaden, Maci, Savannah, Hailey, Peyton, Summer, Konner, Emma, Thomas, Logan and Eliana.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial will be held in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Alesha Rohlfing, Heath Shy, Dustin Groves, Bryan Groves, Kyle Cooper, and Logan Massey. Honorary pallbearers Jared Vaughn, Chet Vaughn, Hunter Massey, Josh Hicks, and Kaden Endress. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
