Joe Hardin,70, of Corning, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at his home near Crockett, Arkansas, surrounded by his family. He was born October 9, 1946, in Corning, Arkansas, to the late Harry and Vinnie Thorsland Hardin. He was untied in marriage to Mary Sue Garner on April 22, 1977. Joe had many loves in his life which included, first, his family, along with fishing, hunting, camping, and farming. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren: David Ray, Ethan Ivy, and Morgan Hardin; one sister, Flora Pearson; brothers: Jack Hardin, Don Ray Hardin, Chester Hardin, Elmer Hardin, and Marvin Hardin. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Mary Sue Hardin; children: Linda Green and husband Allan of Reno, Nevada, Kenny Speer and wife Tammy of Rector, Arkansas, Billy Hardin and wife Marion of Piggott, Arkansas, Scott Speer of Piggott, Arkansas, Steven Speer and wife Michelle of Piggott, Arkansas, Kevin Hardin of Greenway, Arkansas, and Tonya Ivy and husband Shawn of Rosebud, Missouri; sister, Molly Suttle and husband Chuck of Illinois; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and many close friends. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
