Joey Causey, 58, of McDougal, Arkansas, passed away May 21, 2021, at his home in McDougal, Arkansas.
He was born on September 20, 1962, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of Ira Causey and Shirley (Dunlap) Berry.
Joey served in the United States Army for six years, and was stationed in Germany during his service. He worked in construction for most of his life. He loved fishing and hunting. Joey also enjoyed music, during his earlier years he played the drums but later loved playing the guitar.
Survivors include his son, Brandon Causey of Springfield, Missouri; mother, Shirley Berry of Naples, Florida; father, Ira Max Causey and wife Totsy of Piggott, Arkansas; sister, Robin Dennis and husband Randy of Piggott, Arkansas; his favorite niece, Heather Headlee of Little Rock, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Joey's final days were spent surrounded by the family and friends he loved so much, along with his bonus family of Dale, Aliya, Andrew and Matt.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Phillip LaRue officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
