David Boyster, 66, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away January 29, 2019, in Pollard, Arkansas. He was born on June 15, 1952, in Newport, Arkansas, and was the son of Lawrence "Duck Boyster" and Ruby (Keen) Boyster. He was united in marriage to Debra Fay Smith on March 4, 1971, and to this union three sons were born. David retired from Waxler Towing Company as First Mate Tankerman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Debra Boyster; father, Lawrence "Duck" Boyster; mother, Ruby Boyster; son, Donavon Boyster; and granddaughter, Illyana Boyster. Survivors include his sons, Jason Boyster of Pollard, Arkansas, and Byron (Lucinda) Boyster of Cardwell, Missouri; grandchildren, Ashley, Conner, and Greydon; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Layton; sister, Sharon (Wendell) Jackson of St. Louis, Missouri; his beloved dog Oden "Odie" Bearshirt; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 3, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas.
