Johnnie Mae West, 84, of Rector, Arkansas, passed away November 2, 2019, at Rector Nursing and Rehab in Rector, Arkansas. She was born on June 14, 1935, in Wardell, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Johnny and Wanda (Riley) Keown. Johnnie was united in marriage to Harold Edward West on February 7, 1953. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edward West; two sons, Joe West and Doyle West; brothers, George Keown and Jerry Keown; father, Johnny Keown; and mother, Wanda Mae Keown. Johnnie was a simple woman who enjoyed her family and friends. She loved to travel and enjoying traveling to see her family. Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen West of Greenway, Arkansas; son, Darrell West of Rector, Arkansas; son, Richard (Alyson) West of Granite City, Illinois; brother, Larry (Shirley) Keown of Farmington, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation is Thursday November 7, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott Arkansas. Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 7, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Kevin Murray officiating. Burial will be held Friday, November 8, 2019, at Kinsey Cemetery near Fairdealing, Missouri. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
