Joseph Lynn Bolton, 74, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away July 21, 2018, at the Piggott Community Hospital. He was born on January 19, 1944, in Rector, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Clyde and Beatrice Bolton. He was united in marriage to Viola Petty Cowgill on January 21, 2008. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Lynn Bolton, Jr. and his brother, Leroy Bolton. Survivors include his wife, Viola Bolton of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Jana Bolton and special friend, John; grandchildren: Miranda, Sarah, and Alex; great-granddaughter, Charlotte; brother, Herbert Bolton; sisters, Glenda, Norma, Sandy, and VonaJean; and many other relatives and friends. A service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 2:00 p.m at the Piggott First Church of God in Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Piggott First Church of God.
