Joyce Hoggard, 81, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away May 22, 2019, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on February 23, 1938, in Clay County, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Alfred and Oneida (Pittman) Gatlin. Joyce was united in marriage to Cornelious "Punk" Hoggard, on December 15, 1955, and to this union two children were born. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Howard Gatlin, mother, Oneida Glenrose Gatlin, husband, Cornelious "Punk" Hoggard; son, Marty Edward Hoggard. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Hoggard of Piggott, Arkansas, daughter-in-law, Laura Hoggard of Piggott, Arkansas; grandsons, Brandon Marty Hoggard of Piggott, Arkansas, and Bradley Edward Hoggard of Piggott, Arkansas; brothers, LeRoy (Dorothy) Gatlin of Piggott, Arkansas, Cledis (Patsy) Gatlin of St. Ann, Missouri, and Wendell Gatlin of St. Ann, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Ronnie Stevens, Alan Vaughn and Terry Burdin officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hoggard, Bradley Hoggard, Jerry Hoggard, Paul Hoggard, Stan Cook, and Mike Bolla. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Hoggard, Jerrod Lowe, Gary Tucker, and Frankie Faulk. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday, May 25, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
