Julia Jean "Judi" Thompson Parks, passed peacefully on July 29, 2020, at her home in Jonesboro surrounded in love by her husband of 57 years, children, and grandchildren. Julia was born on May 20, 1944, in Piggott, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Duke and Roy Alvin Thompson; her brother, Roy Thompson Junior; and her best friend, Joyce Findley. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Parks; her son, Shawn Parks and wife Wendy of Ponte Vedra, Florida; her daughter, Lisa (Parks) Inman of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Hayden, Emma, and Charlie; and beloved Shih tzu, Prissy. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
