Julie Elizabeth Creek, 66, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away July 30, 2011, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on September 6, 1944, in Marmaduke, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late James Mac Henry and Celma Purdom Rideout. She was united in marriage to Jackie Wayne Creek on March 29, 1960, and to this union a son, Tony Michael Creek was born. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jackie Creek; her son, Tony Creek; three brothers, James Henry Rideout, Lavern Purdom and Donald Mac Rideout; and two sisters, Wanda Lee Ledbetter, and Betty Rodgers. Survivors include her two sisters: Mary Sue Moore of Pollard, Arkansas, and Georgie Turner of Freeport, Illinois and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Ted Winberry officiating. Burial is in Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Arkansas.
