Karen Oline Beaver, 60, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was born on March 25, 1957, in Pine City, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Virgil and Connie (Matlock) Long.
She was united in marriage to Steve Beaver on October 25, 1976, and to this union two children were born.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Beaver of Piggott, Arkansas; son, Steven Long and wife Shaunda of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter, Samantha Beaver of Piggott, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Ethan Lucas, Alyssa Bracken, and Christopher Wallace; her siblings: Marvin Long of Campbell, Missouri, Wilma Baker of Springfield, Missouri, Donna Dickens of Campbell, Missouri, Lettie Sears of Holcomb, Missouri, Brenda Reed of Kennett, Missouri, Linda Cato of Piggott, Arkansas, Darrel Long of Qulin, Missouri, Teresa Lindsey of Kennett, Missouri, and Janice Elliott of Holcomb, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Vance Turner officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Ralph Cole, James Howell, Bobby Mullins, Chuck Emerson, Andrew Rathel, and Tim Risinger. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
