Katherine Tindal of Holcomb, Missouri, formerly of Greenway, Arkansas, was born December 6, 1933, the daughter of the late Virgil and Lora (Gibson) Malone. She departed this life on November 12, 2018, at NHC in Kennett, Missouri. Katherine was of the Assembly of God faith and served as Pianist. She was a longtime employee of Rector Sportswear. Katherine was united in marriage to the late L.C. Tindal on August 7, 1950. To this union two daughters, Donna Throgmorton of Greenway, Arkansas, and Sharon Featherston of Piggott, Arkansas, were born. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Jeremy Featherston of Piggott, Arkansas, Jeff Featherston on Paducah, Kentucky, Jessica Pollock of Piggott, Arkansas, and Candace Throgmorton of Greenway, Arkansas, along with nine great-grandchildren. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband L.C. Tindal; her parents, Virgil and Lora (Gibson) Malone; four brothers Joe Wayne Malone, Cleveland Malone, Clencle Malone, and a twin Billy Teen. She is survived by her siblings: Tobe Malone of St. Peters, Missouri, Linda Branch of Herculaneum, Missouri, Jenell Hicks of Chester, Virginia, and Garry Malone of St. Louis, Missouri. Katherine will be remembered as having a beautiful and kind spirit. She was a devoted Christian, mother, and grandmother. Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. with Jeff Miles officiating. Burial is in Hartsoe Cemetery near Marmaduke, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
